Good point, good laughs. You just got me wondering if they still make those View-Master picture viewer deals from my childhood, which, like Etch-aSketch and Colorforms, were about as high tech as things got in the 1950s and 1960s.

Surprisingly, Fisher-Price does still manufacture View-Masters. Hard to believe that in a world where 5-year-olds have cell phones and digital cameras that kids would view low-tech 3D snapshots of otters, sharks, and head lice at play.

But wait, what's this? What picture reels can the shopper consume on the <a href="http://www.fisher-price.com/fp.aspx?t=page&a=go&s=viewmaster&p=landing_flash&site=us" rel="nofollow">Official View-Master Web site</a>?

Disney Handy-Mandy, Disney Little Einstein, Disney Bambi, Charlie Brown Christmas (wha'? Oh, wait, it's okay. They imbed commercials for Dolly Madison cupcakes.) Disney Beauty and the Beast, Disney Toy Story, Disney Monsters, Barbie This, Barbie That.

Okay, am I forgetting something? Didn't they used to have these 3D pictures of kangaroos and hot air balloons and the Taj Mahal at play?
